Community Council Interest Survey

The state of Utah has been fortunate to be able to provide additional money to schools through what is called Trust land funds. These funds come to schools and are managed through school communities. Every school in the state of Utah has a school community council which is also known as school Trust Land Council. The council is made up of community members, teachers, and school administration. Teacher members of the council are elected by teachers and community members are elected by parents and students of the school.

The council gives input and works collaboratively with the school administration to make decisions regarding the school plan and the best interest of students, helping them reach their full potential. Please come and be involved in Washington Terrace Elementary – we would love to have you!
